The group that calls itself 'the Islamic State' (IS) is typically viewed as a threat to Iraq and Syria, but they also threaten Kurdish polities and populations.

At this lunch seminar, Salih Muslim, head of the main Syrian Kurdish political party (PYD) and a key figure in the Syrian political landscape, will share his views on the conflict.

Also present are Trude Falck from the Norwegian People's Aid, and Erlend Paasche from PRIO.
