Succesful doctoral defence by Siri Aas Rustad

Siri defended her PhD dissertation on Friday March 2 at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). The thesis is titled Conflict, Peace, and Natural Resources: The role of natural-resource management in building lasting peace.  ​
​The committee consisted of
  • Professor Vally Koubi, University of Bern and Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH), Zurich, SwitzerlandAssociate
  • Professor Idean Salehyan, University of North Texas, USA
  • Professor Kristen Ringdal, Department of Sociology and Political Science, NTNU    

The oponents at the defence were Professors Vally Koubi and Idean Salehyan.

Siri Aas Rustad has been a PhD. Candidate at the Centre for the Study of Civil War, in the working group for Environmental Factors in Civil War.      ​
