PRIO Global Fellow Ukoha Ukiwo is visiting PRIO this week (19-23. January). Ukoha holds a PhD in development studies from the University of Oxford. He is currently the Programme Manager at the Nigeria Stability and Reconciliation Programme, a DFID funded initiative aimed at helping Nigerians better manage conflict and ensure a reduction in cases of violent conflict. He has also been Senior Lecturer at the Dept. of Political and Administrative Studies, University of Port Harcourt, and been a visiting scholar both at University of California, Berkley and the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium.

While at PRIO Ukoha will work together with Gudrun Østby and Siri Aas Rustad with particular focus on the upcoming presidential election in Nigeria in early February. Ukoha will hold a seminar on this topic Friday 23rd at PRIO.
