Enlightenment Now!

The Peace Address for 2019 was given by Steven Pinker, Professor of Psychology at Harvard University. His address, entitled Enlightenment Now!, celebrated human progress and represented a defence of enlightenment ideals, rationality, science and humanism.

The address was followed by a discussion between Pinker, Camilla Stoltenberg (Director, Norwegian Institute of Public Health) and Karl Ove Moene (Economist and Professor at the University of Oslo).
