Bahgat, Karim; Kendra Dupuy; Gudrun Østby; Siri Aas Rustad; Håvard Strand & Tore Wig (2018) Children and Armed Conflict: What Existing Data Can Tell Us. Oslo: PRIO.

This is a background report for Save the Children’s Global Flagship Report on children in armed conflict, The War on Children: Time to End Grave Violations against Children in Conflict.

This report presents trends and patterns in the best available data that do exist for four core indicators of children’s well-being during conflict: the numbers of children living in conflict-affected areas; trends in child soldiering; trends in sexual exploitation; and trends in infant mortality.
