The CCC functions as a hub for research on culture and violent conflict at PRIO. The centre focuses on the importance of language, history, philosophy, storytelling, cultural production and art for understanding societal dynamics of violent conflict, civic resistance and peacebuilding. The CCC is guided by arts-based and humanities approaches to research, and its researchers collaborate with artists and creative practitioners.
The CCC invites proposals on any of these topics, from
a range of approaches of relevance within the arts and humanities. Please check
out our website (https://ccc.prio.org/) or Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/prioCCC) for inspiration on topics, and do not hesitate to
get in touch with Cindy Horst to verify the relevance of your project idea.
