Ever since US president Richard Nixon went to China in 1972 the possibility for grand bargains between ideological enemies have been part of the staple discussion in international affairs.  Is there now an opportunity for Obama to do a Nixon over Iran?

Odd Arne Westad, professor of international history at the London School of Economics and Director of its new center for international affairs (LSE IDEAS) discusses the options.

The seminar will be chaired by PRIO Director Stein Tønnesson.
