South Africa and Darfur

PRIO and NUPI welcome you to a seminar with Laurie Nathan. The seminar will seek to explain South Africa's foreign policy support for the Sudanese government and neglect of Darfur. Laurie Nathan is a visiting researcher at the London School of Economics and an associate fellow at the University of Cape Town. Nathan has a long background as an engaged scholar focusing on South Africa as well as Africa at large, and he has been widley noted for his contributions in the fields of conflict resolution, peace operations and peacebuilding.
