For the Water Scarcity in South Asia project, a review meeting was held in Dhaka in June 2011. The meeting was attended by the Norwegian Ambassador in Bangladesh and lead members from the BIPSS and PRIO teams. A complete review of the plan and the way ahead was carried out and a consultative discussion took place. The research team leads set out the goals of the project to the conferenceand decided to meet again in early 2012. The PRIO Project Leader met a number of policy level officials including the Secretary of Water Resources in the Bangladesh government and discussed the plan of the project. They showed keen interest in the project and assured that all cooperation will be provided in carrying out the project.
