Stefan Elbe, Reader in International Relations at the University of Sussex, will be critically discussing the Links between HIV/AIDS and human security, HIV/AIDS and national security, and HIV/AIDS and international security, drawing out the wider implications about the significance of international efforts to ‘securitize’ HIV/AIDS for our understanding of security and contemporary international relations.
