The conference will bring together scholars with expertise in one or more of the countries of Southern Europe currently experiencing the effects of economic crisis and austerity. The hope is that the event will enable fostering a better understanding of the political aspects of the ongoing crisis in Southern Europe that have gone comparatively neglected, at least in Cyprus, and illuminate larger questions about the challenges and developments that lie ahead.
During the conference the new PCC Report 2/2014 will be launched, entitled Political Culture and Behaviour in the Republic of Cyprus during the Crisis by Giorgos Charalambous
