Sunniva Jægtvik is currently working as research assistant at PRIO. She wrote her thesis at PRIO for a Master's degree in Modern International and Transnational History at the University of Oslo, about the development of Norway's first bilateral aid project to India in the early 1950s. She had an internship with the Mobilization Against Migration project at PRIO in the fall 2024. Sunniva has her Bachelor's degree from International Studies at the University of Oslo, giving her a background in international law, political science, social economy and history. The latter being her chosen field of focus. Her specialization is in modern political history focusing on the UN, development, foreign aid, and decolonization. Sunniva speaks Norwegian and English.
