This report provides an overview of migratory shifts and trends, focusing on Cyprus, a country located at the crossroads of Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. Cyprus hosts a diverse migratory population but has historically lacked a coherent integration policy and shown limited interest in adopting EU-promoted resilience and inclusion frameworks. The report highlights the urgent need for a holistic migration approach that not only establishes legal pathways but also safeguards the safety, protection, and human rights of migrants and refugees.
