After two disappointing years of peace implementation in Bosnia, the process has taken off, and Serbia's defeat over Kosovo opens a new chapter for Bosnia. Rather than enhancing the argument for the division of Bosnia, the way the conflict in Kosovo is being resolved may well help the cause of reintegration. Most importantly, as a result of the growing international presence in the Balkans, the international community appears to be dropping its piecemeal approach toward dealing with each crisis in isolation, in favour of one seeking a more comprehensive solution.
