Economics of Defence Conversion (1978–2000)
A bibliography on the economics of defense spoending and conversion was compiled by Nils Petter Gleditsch, Naima Mouhleb, Göran Lindgren, Sjoerd Smit & Indra de Soysa, with support from the Bonn International Center for Conversion, SIPRI, and COPRI.
Major publications resulting from this project have included a monograph on the economics of defence and disarmament in Norway (1992) and an edited volume on the international peace dividend (1996). The final activity is to complete a bibliography on the economics of defence conversion, funded by grants from the COST programme of the European Union, the Copenhagen Peace Research Institute, the Bonn International Conversion Center and the Research Council of Norway. This bibliography is to be published by Regina Books in 2000.
