Led by Mete Hatay

Jan 2015 – Dec 2016

This project follows on previous work in this field, particularly the PCC's involvement in establishing the Cyprus Critical History Archive, a joint initiative of the Association for Historical Dialogue and Research.

This project follows on previous work in this field, particularly the PCC's involvement in establishing the Cyprus Critical History Archive, a joint initiative of the Association for Historical Dialogue and Research. The CCHA aims at collecting and cataloguing all available information on intercommunal relations and conflict-related violence in Cyprus and making this information available to researchers and to the public. The Archive is housed in the Home for Cooperation (H4C) in the UN Buffer Zone.

Hatay has been involved in the CCHA from its initiation and has continued to participate in activities related to historical reconciliation. He has now become a founding member of the Regional Network for Historical Dialogue and Dealing with the Past, which brings together NGOs, civil society organizations, and academics working on issues of historical reconciliation in Southeast Europe, the Caucasus, and the Middle East.
