Cancelled: The 'Islamic State' and the Kurds - a seminar with Salih Muslim

​Mr. Salih Muslim, head of the Syrian Kurdish political party (PYD), unfortunately has had to cancel his attendance due to unforeseen circumstances. The seminar is postponed indefinitely, but we hope to be able to invite you again soon.


The group that calls itself 'the Islamic State' (IS) is typically viewed as a threat to Iraq and Syria, but they also threaten Kurdish polities and populations.

At this lunch seminar, Salih Muslim, head of the main Syrian Kurdish political party (PYD) and a key figure in the Syrian political landscape, will share his views on the conflict. 

Also present are Trude Falck from the Norwegian People's Aid, and Erlend Paasche from PRIO.​
