Research Professor Cindy Horst is as of 1 January 2014 the new Research Director of the Social Dynamics department at PRIO. Horst is an anthropologist with a specialization in Forced Migration Studies, and she holds PhD from from the University of Amsterdam in Social Sciences on migration and transnationalism among Somalis.
