Over the past decade, both CPEC and non-CPEC Chinese investments in Pakistan and Afghanistan—particularly in infrastructure, technology, and development—have expanded significantly. The roundtable provided a platform to examine how these initiatives can contribute to sustainable development and regional stability, while also addressing the security and governance challenges that shape outcomes on the ground.
