My name is Kristian Lefdal, and I am currently attending the Peace and Conflict Studies-master´s programme at the University of Oslo. I possess a bachelor-degree in Political Science obtained at the University of Agder, campus Kristiansand. For my dissertation, I studied the Norwegian party system, and proved why new party arrangements find difficulties in getting elected, by implementing institutional, sociological and competitive perspectives in the analysis. Academically, I am highly influenced by Francis Fukuyama and his views on the modern state. I am also interested in democratic development/deficits and security policies.
