Ole Magnus as a master`s student focusing on autocratic media manipulation. The preliminary title of his thesis being: ' The credibility dilemma in the autocratic propaganda machine - An investigation of media censorship and systematic attribution of blame and glory’. He is affiliated with Conflict Patterns and Environments department (CoPE)
He also works as and Research Assistant at the Department of Political Science at UiO under the project Objections to Democracy led by Tore Wig. Here he is interested in the environments and arguments against democratic rule as well as using quantitative methods for research on autocratic regimes. Ole Magnus also works part time at Geodata as a GIS-ambassador to the University of Oslo where he assists students and staff in ArcGIS pro
