PRIO invites you to a film seminar during the Films from the South festival. The film chosen for this seminar is called Death in Gaza, focusing on how children are sucked into a conflict primarily between adults. These children are the hawks and the doves of the future. What is it that makes some of them willing to sacrifice their lives as suicide bombers? The Panel Debate will focus on these main topics of the film.
The Centre for the Study of Civil War once again presented a civil war related film followed by a seminar on the opening night of the National Science Week (Forskningsdagene). The film chosen for this year's event is called The Terrorist, about the young girl Malli and her mission as a suicide bomber.
