This project is carried out in collaboration with the Development Research Group of the World Bank. Several CWP staff members participated in the launch seminar for the project in Washington, DC 22–23 February 1999. In autumn 1999 we obtained a first grant for the project from the Post-Conflict Fund of the World Bank and collaboration continued until the final report from the project was issued in 2003..
