A Blueprint for Pro-Peace Innovation

Peace and conflict studies knowledge has dramatically expanded over the last 25 years. Scholars know much more about why conflicts start, and how they can be prevented. In parallel, innovation and technology actors have begun to engage with issues of peace and conflict. Yet cooperation between these actors is still relatively rare. We argue that there are important synergies that can foster peace-positive innovation in order to develop mechanisms and technologies to support human security and peacebuilding. We outline five steps to move the peace innovation agenda forward.
