This article discusses the concept and development process of the 120 Cows Exhibition (2019). It describes and analyses the collaborative interdisciplinary approach between a feminist activist, researchers – one a geographer, the other an anthropologist – and the artist and curator of the exhibition. The article aims to critically discuss the type of collaborative knowledge emerging from projects where every participants’ expertise is recognized and acknowledged at all stages, from development to analysis and dissemination.
