The CORE project - funded under the Seventh Framework Programme of the European Union – has over the past three years analysed the premises and operation of governance initiatives in conflict transformation processes through a combination of fieldwork, qualitative analysis and theory development. 

Case studies on developments in GeorgiaCyprusBosnia and HerzegovinaBiharNorth East India and Kashmir have been translated in scientific deliverables and policy briefs. These policy briefs will be presented by the authors and discussed with experts. 
During the afternoon session we will have a comparative look into the EUs and India's approach  to governance and conflict resolution, as well as into Indian and European experiences regarding governance initiatives in conflict ridden countries.
