Michele Leiby is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at the College of Wooster. Her current research focuses on the causes of political violence and transitional justice movements. Michele has done extensive qualitative and quantitative research on the use of sexual violence in conflicts in Latin America. She is visiting PRIO for two months to work on the Sexual Violence in Armed Conflict (SVAC) project, looking at post-conflict sexual violence in Peru.
