Women’s Meaningful Participation in the Peace and Reconciliation Process in Mali

​This study about women's meaningful participation in the peace and reconciliation process at the local level in Mali is carried out by PRIO upon request by the Folke Bernadotte Academy.

The study is guided by the following questions:

  • How are men and women involved in supporting women's participation in peace and reconciliation processes at the local level?
  • Which factors are seen as contributing to and/or hampering the possibilities for women's meaningful participation in the peace and reconciliation process in Mali?
  • What factors are viewed as essential for inclusive sustainable peace and reconciliation?
