What are the alternatives for international humanitarian responses to the ongoing crisis in Syria? Which room is there for the protection of civilians between military intervention and non-interference? What are the ethical arguments for these alternatives? Which lessons should be learnt from the Syria crisis in terms of the institutionalization of international conflict management? These are among the questions to be addressed in this public seminar on the ethics of international responses to the Syria crisis.
