While Europe is struggling to find sustainable ways to address migration through the Mediterranean and to share responsibilities within, minority rights are under pressure across the continent.

The heightened tension requires strong and immediate political action, thus minority rights are among the core priorities of the current Croatian presidency of the Council of Europe.

The Croatian embassy in Oslo and PRIO are pleased to host a seminar on minority and migrant rights featuring Thorbjørn Jagland, Secretary General of the Council of Europe; and Andreja Metelko Zgombić, State Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs Croatia as keynote speakers, followed by commentaries by three scholars and experts.
