At the occasion of the annual meeting of Nordic Women Mediators, you are invited to join an open panel debate with renowned and experienced Nordic women engaged in conflict resolution internationally.

Nordic countries have invested a lot of attention and resources in mediation and dialogue, and Nordic states, NGOs and practitioners have played significant roles in conflict resolution. What does changes in the global geopolitical context mean for the role of the Nordics in conflict resolution? How does Nordic peace engagement adapt to the changing global landscape with shrinking space for dialogue and inclusive approaches to conflict resolution and peace mediation? The panellists will discuss Nordic conflict resolutions efforts today and what Nordic peace engagement might look like in the future.  The event forms part of the annual meeting of Nordic Women Mediators (NWM), organised by NOREF Norwegian Centre for Conflict Resolution and PRIO Centre on Gender, Peace and Security in collaboration with the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
