The Barcelona Summer School of the Mediterranean and the Middle East is a joint initiative co-organized by IBEI, Catalonia International and IEMed.
The 2026 edition of the School will consist of a number of interactive courses on the politics and international relations of the Mediterranean and the Middle East, taught by experts of international reputation. These courses will be complemented by networking meetings with practitioners and public conferences.
The integrated structure will enable the programme to cater to the needs of both students and practitioners. Students will have the opportunity to obtain ECTS credits, provided they are recognized by their university. The events will be free for all registered participants.
The course format will be face-to-face.
