Number of Conflicts on the Rise
In the period 1993-2003 the number of conflicts dropped, from more than 50 to less than 30 per year. Since 2003, the trend has changed, and we see a gradual increase in the number of conflicts. The data are collected in a collaboration between PRIO and the University of Uppsala.
