​Arnaud Siad is a CNN award-winning journalist with experience in academic research at PhD level in international relations. For the past five years, he has been working as a journalist and producer for Amanpour, CNN International's flagship show on international affairs.

Before this, Arnaud worked as a Humanitarian Assessment Manager with an NGO and the UN in the Middle East, focused on the war in Syria. He also has experience working with the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum as a Researcher and Project Coordinator.

Arnaud did his PhD studies at Sciences Po Paris. His thesis focused on the concept of the responsibility to protect civilians. He also holds a Master's of Science in International Relations, specializing in international public law from the London School of Economics. In addition, he holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Politics and Economic from Bifröst University in Iceland.

Arnaud is fluent in English, French and Icelandic.
