Maria is a MA student at the University of Oslo (UiO) in Public International Law with a specialization in Gender, Peace, Development and Environment. She holds a law degree from Humboldt University (Berlin) where she specialized in German and International Criminal Law. She is currently writing her MA thesis at PRIO about multinational private social media corporations and their potential obligation to prevent breaches of peace under International Law with a special focus on Feminist Legal Theory (FLT) and Third World Approaches to International Law (TWAIL).
