Background
Malin is a Master's student in Political Science at the University of Oslo and is part of the UiO-PRIO MA Student Programme. Her research interests include: contentious politics, dynamics of protest and mobilisation, authoritarian regimes, civil war and sectarian violence. She has a particular interest in the Middle East and North Africa region.
Malin is currently working on her MA thesis about the impact of sectarian violence on trust in public institutions in Egypt. She holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Oslo.
