Fiona Mullen has collaborated with the PRIO Cyprus Centre, as an external consultant, in numerous projects for over a decade. During this period she has co-authored various PRIO publications on the economics of a Cyprus settlement as well as the hydrocarbons issue. She has been providing independent economic analysis to an international audience for over 20 years. She founded Sapienta Economics Ltd in 2006 and cofounded Strata Insight energy policy risk advisory in 2012. She was the Cyprus contributor for the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) from 2001 to 2015 and economy consultant to the United Nations good offices mission in Cyprus from 2008 to early 2016. Before living in Cyprus, Mullen was Director of the EIU's flagship, Country Reports. She writes the monthly Sapienta Country Analysis Cyprus and is frequently cited in international media.
