Security Dialogue – Aims and Scope
Security Dialogue (SD) is an interdisciplinary and international peer-reviewed journal of scholarly work that critically interrogates questions of security, war, militarism, and conditions for peace. Ambitious in scope, SD publishes articles that critically push the boundaries of security politics, practices, and thinking through a variety of methods, theories, and empirics.
SD provides an outlet for approaches and methodologies from across the arts, humanities, and social sciences for scholarship that seeks to revisit, critique, and revise the concept of security against the backdrop of contemporary and historical developments. Edited at the Peace Research Institute Oslo (PRIO) by an international team, Security Dialogue has for more than fifty years published cutting-edge, high-impact, peer-reviewed scholarship that meets the highest standards of research integrity. Focused on innovation and broadening our community, the journal offers both articles and shorter, more specific interventions through bulletins.
