The Barcelona Summer School of the Mediterranean and the Middle East is a joint initiative of Istitut Barcelone Estudis Internacionals and Blanquerna - Universitat Ramón Llull, organised in collaboration with several other institutions including the PRIO Cyprus Centre.

The School consists of two separate but complementary parts, enabling the programme to cater to the needs of both students and practitioners. First, a number of short courses on the politics and international relations of the Mediterranean and the Middle East, taught by experts of international repute. Second, interactive roundtables focused on the various policy challenges the two regions face. The PCC is involved in the second part with a roundtable entitled "Security and Energy in the Mediterranean and the Middle East".

Deadline for applications is 22 June 2022.
