What is the value of a transnational lens to understand the world at present? Join this webinar 28 Oct (14-15 CET) for a conversation on the IMISCOE Short Reader on Migrant Transnationalism.

Part of IMISCOEs Short Reader series, this book on ‘Migrant Transnationalism’ sets out to provide a compelling introduction to research on migrant transnationalism.  In this Book conversation webinar the authors - Özge Bilgili and Marta Bivand Erdal - will present the book, and their motivations for writing it.  Three migration scholars, Mary Setrana, Koen Leurs and Benjamin Etzold, will then offer their reflections on the book and the perspectives it offers. This will include comments on its potential and limitations as a source for researchers, students and policy makers. In particular in terms of showing why looking at the world through a transnational lens adds value, for anyone interested in migration and social change.
