Global power is shifting fast. As traditional alliances strain, are smaller nations gaining influence – or being squeezed out? What does this moment mean for nations like Norway?

Some see the current international upheaval as reason for countries to embrace a new pragmatism and to form alliances with likeminded governments wherever they feel they can push forward their agendas. Others warn of a new era of self-serving transactionalism and the death of multilateralism as we have known it.

In this panel scholars, politicians and international diplomats will examine what this moment of uncertainty is doing to the traditional ways in which Norway exerts its influence abroad. And we will reflect on what other countries have made of the same dilemma.

Panelists to be announced shortly.
