I am a Senior Researcher working in the ANTICIPATE project, where I study the impact of armed conflict on human development. My research sits at the intersection of technology and security, focusing on how technologies shape political regimes and patterns of domestic and transnational repression. I am particularly interested in developing computational approaches to the study of political violence, including text-as-data method and automated event extraction.

I completed a joint PhD in Cybersecurity (Sapienza University, Luiss Guido Carli), with a doctoral thesis titled “Repression Without Borders: How Digital Technologies Reshape Political Violence at Home and Abroad”.
