Almost a decade and a half after the attack, what are the legal ripple effects of 22nd July? What kind of laws, regulations and court decision have been produced in response to the violence, suffering and destruction of 22nd July and how has post-terror law shaped notions of security and social citizenship?

This seminar brings together legal scholars, legal sociologists, criminologists and philosophers from the RIPPLES-project to discuss welfare protection, criminal proceedings, memorials and urban reconstruction.

The event invites participants to reflect on the future of terrorism research. It brings together an interdisciplinary panel to discuss trends in terrorism research, focusing on critical terrorism studies, in-court studies, and event-focused studies specifically, and considering shifting geopolitical and domestic security politics.
