Kristina Petrova is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Mannheim, a Research Fellow at the Centre for International Security at the Hertie School in Berlin, and a visiting researcher at the Department of Peace and Conflict Research, Uppsala University. She is also a researcher with the POLIMPACT project at PRIO and a former contributor to the VIEWS project portfolio. Her research examines migration and displacement in conflict-affected regions, the political consequences of conflict and climate-related disasters, and long-term projections of conflict and inequality. She completed her PhD in 2023 at the Department of Peace and Conflict Research, Uppsala University.
