  • ​Cognitive and social neuroscience/ neurogenetics and evolutionary psychology
  • Individual differences in attention processing, mental effort, and cognitive control
  • Visual perception, reward/ emotion processing, and decision making,
  • Professional wellbeing, implementation, and evaluation of evidence-based practices
  • Basic and applied research areas as well as social and political affairs


​I am a Senior Researcher on the ERC Starting Grant project "Adapted to War" (AWAR).

We are going to design cognitive tasks and use online data collection platforms to investigate whether we humans, through evolution, are equipped with a cognitive processing mechanism by which we automatically use visual cues to assess the formidability of other individuals and groups and eventually avoid falling as a victim in a protentional conflict.
