Interests and experience

Mass mobilisation, democratisation, electoral autocracies and authoritarian regimes. Quantitative and qualitative research methods.

I work as a research assistant on the MoDe and SecVic-projects, coding opposition campaigns in different parts of the world during the 20th and 21th century. I also work as a research assistant at the CREED project, investigating the associations between education and violent crime.

I graduated with a MA in political science from the University of Oslo (UiO) in 2021. My thesis, which focused on pre-election protests and voter behaviour in Hong Kong, was an integral part of PRIO's research activities through the UiO-PRIO Student Programme. I also hold a BA in development studies from UiO and City University of Hong Kong.
