Research Interests

Sarah is a Research Assistant within the CVP Department. She holds a BA in International Relations with Applied Quantitative Method (AQM) and a MSc Conflict Resolution from University of Essex, both with First Class Distinctions. Her Masters dissertation focused on quantitatively analyzing the dynamic between Youth Bulges and Nonviolent Resistance Onset. She is currently working with Halvard Buhaug and Elisabeth Rosvold to geolocate natural disasters and contribute to other CLIMSEC-related events, and later will work with Siri on the Conflict Trends Project until 30 June 2019.

Prior to joining PRIO, she worked as a Research and Fundraising Officer for the Foundation for Women's Health Research and Development (FORWARD), Head of Partnerships at Women in International Affairs Network (WIAN), and Communication Officer and Project Manager at the University of Essex (Government & Pathways) departments.
