I research geopolitical issues at the intersection of technology and security. My PhD project examines digital technology procurement in Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines amid increasing geopolitical rivalry between the U.S. and China.
I lead an MoD project on space geopolitics and its security implications for Norway. I have worked on several other projects funded by the RCN, Norwegian Ministry of Defence, and the EU. At PRIO, I co-lead the Security and Technology Research Group.
