The Prisoners' Testament Award [Fangenes testamente] is awarded annually by Aktive Fredsreiser [Travel for Peace] in collaboration with PRIO.

Today we are wishing the new Communication Director at PRIO welcome. Michelle Delaney is joining us, coming from the position as Media Adviser in the Norwegian Refugee Council. Michelle is taking over from Agnete Schjønsby, who will continue to work with communication tasks at PRIO.

This year, we will celebrate PRIO's 60th Anniversary, with a peak in our Anniversary Week at the beginning of June. We hope for, and plan for, a lot of interesting (and fun) anniversary activities.
The 'Fangenes testamente' (The Prisoners' Testament) award was given to Professor Lars Weisæth during a ceremony in Risør 16 June.
